Fish Egg (Mullet Roe) Fry
IngrediantsMullet Roe - 3 ( cut into cubes)Onion - 1/2 (finely chopped)Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tspChilly Powder - 1/2 tspPepper powder - 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder - a pinchLemon - 1/2Salt - to tasteOil - 2 tblspParsley - for garnishMethod1. Marinate the roe for half an hour with ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt.2. Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions for a minute. This is optional based on individual choice.3. Push the onions to the sides of the pan and add the marinated roe. Let the roe fry for 2 minutes.4. Gently flip the roe and fry for another minute. 5. Mix the onions and the roe together and reduce the flame. Let it hang on for another 2 minutes till all the flavours blend together.6. Juice the lemon on top and garnish with chopped parsley. This goes very well with curd rice, biriyani, sambhar rice or chappatti.
